I called on Him, but He did not answer. Song of Psalms 5:6

When the things we pray for seem out of reach, unobtainable, or even impossible; instead of bemoaning it to God, we must press in with total confidence that our prayer request is on His desk and He is working on it. His time, not ours, remember?
Once the Lord has given us great faith, He has been known to test us with long delays. He has allowed His servants' voices to echo in their ears, as if their prayers were rebounding from a contemptuous sky. Believers have knocked at the Heavenly Gate but it has remained immovable, as though it's hinges had rusted.

And like Jeremiah, they have cried, "You have covered yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can go through." Lamentations 3:44  (You Make Me Brave link)

"How do we acquire this great Faith?" you ask. That is a fabulous question. One scholars and great men and women of faith have pondered since the beginning off time. My answer: Believe. Press In. Seek Him daily. Pray about everything. Seek Him hourly, knowing that He is with you every minute of the day. Invite Him to go to work with you, it will delight Him and He will be happy to oblige. But it must be done daily, for if not, we forget

Talk to Him, He will respond. Joke with Him, He will joke back.
When your day or week, or life is a mess, cry out to Him.

Psalm 56:8 (MSG) You've kept track of my every toss and turn through the sleepless nights. Each tear entered in your ledger, each ache written in your book.

He is the best friend you will ever have. and when He knows we trust Him, our faith grows. Certainly there will be hormonal days, or days when the evil one attacks you, and tries to convince you that God is a liar, but we know who the liar really is. This knowledge gives us the ability to laugh right in the devils face and tell him to get lost. Remind Him of where he's heading and praise Jesus for saving your life.

Scripture for Today:

Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted. (Matthew 15:28)

Faith is the key to receiving, not doubt. If you want God to move in your life, but you have doubt in your heart, you have to first replace that doubt with faith. Don't let your blessings pass you by because of unbelief. Be blessed and be encouraged.

True saints of God have endured lengthy times of patient waiting with no reply, not because their prayers were prayed without intensity, not because God did not accept their pleas. They were required to wait because it pleased Him who is sovereign and gives, "according to his good purpose" (Philippians 2:13)

Mark 4:35-38 (MSG)35-38 Late that day he said to them, “Let’s go across to the other side.” They took him in the boat as he was. Other boats came along. A huge storm came up. Waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it. And Jesus was in the stern, head on a pillow, sleeping! They roused him, saying, “Teacher, is it nothing to you that we’re going down?”

Christ sometimes delays His help so He may test our faith and energize our prayers. Our boat may be tossed by the waves while He continues to sleep, but He will wake before it sinks. He sleeps but he never oversleeps, for He is never too late. ~ Alexander Mac Laren ~

Mark 4:39-41(MSG)  39-40         Awake now, he told the wind to pipe down and said to the sea, “Quiet! Settle down!”
(All is Well link)
The wind ran out of breath; the sea became smooth as glass. Jesus reprimanded the disciples: “Why are you such cowards? Don’t you have any faith at all?”
41 They were in absolute awe, staggered. “Who is this, anyway?” they asked. “Wind and sea at his beck and call!”

When you think that God has forgotten his promises to you, remind yourself of the storm that night. Before the disciples ever got on the boat, Jesus told them they were going to  the other side. When the Holy Spirit makes a promise to you, it will happen. It pleases Him to cause our patience to be exercised; should He not do what He desires with His own?

No prayer is ever lost, or any prayer ever breathed in vain. There is no such thing as unanswered prayer or unnoticed by God. And most things we see as refusals or denials are simply delays  ~ Horatius Bonar ~

Biblical Scholars have determined that many of our prayers for things we desire were planted in our hearts by our Heavenly Father. His plans for our lives. It is His desire to awaken us to His plans and desires for us, and then test our Faith, and Patience as His will comes to be.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God, must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.
